I called in and placed an order. The lady on the phone was rude and snappy. Starting off with "What do you want?" I told her that I don't have a menu and this is my first time calling. She still seemed impatient. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice. It was not 10 dollars so I added a soda, egg roll, and shrimp toast. My order came about 45 mins as promised which seems long for Chinese but I'm not from around here. The egg roll was greasy and I did not find any shrimp. I could only tolerate one bite. I got fried rice which was so lacking in flavor tremendously, it should have been white like I asked for. I did however appreciate white meat in the orange chicken. However moving forward I probably won't order from them again. The lady over the phone was enough to deter me from a second mistake.

Not impressed. Service is quick but the food is flavorless and way too oily. Really disappointed. The chicken fried rice was not good, only could have a few bites. Maybe I had them on a bad day. They are always busy though.

Not very good at all no flavor whatsoever ordered orange chicken and bit into a smal peice and immediatly got that dirty gritty feeling like a bunch of what i can only hope was sugar had been sprinkled all over... Threw it right in the trash..... Cheap price but bland and in my case gritty tasting orange chicken

We live in Sparks and have tried at least a dozen places in HVall. But none come close to taste, quality and balance of ingredients of CW. Far less greasy and salty than most places too. We travel out of our way at least once a month. Seafood and Chik Pork r delectable. Portions and price very good.

Better than mediocre and is typically my go to place to eat. Quick service and decent prices

The chicken used in the lunch specials is all white meat, which I think tells you something about the quality at this place. I'm a fan of the orange chicken - which is almost all chicken and next to no fatty/greasy breading. The specials around $5.35 and under (plus tax), and come with white or vegetable fried rice. Egg roll or soda costs extra. Only a couple of tables if you want to eat it, but the space seems clean and airy.

I'll need to try this place one more time. Ordered the General Tso shrimp and I'm not sure how I feel yet.

We moved to the area 6 months ago and it took 5 tries at different Chinese restaurants to finally found everything we like and China Wok has it. They do combo dinner specials for a reasonable price and they actually make fried rice. The other perk is that they deliver. We are happy to finally have found "our" Chinese food spot

This was our "go to" take-out Chinese when we lived in New Town for 7 years. We haven't found a comparable place yet in Ellicott City and miss New Town a lot! The food is good and consistent. Prices are reasonable. I heard that good Chinese restaurants have the longest lo mein noodles and these are pretty long! Favs include general tso's chicken and Hunan chicken.

Pro: - Very Cheap - Good Rice Cons: - Food tastes very cheap - Egg rolls are mooshy China wok is a very inexpensive chinese restaurant, the dinner combonations are almost as cheap as everyonelse's lunch specials, but unfortunatley that's reflected in the taste. Their rice is actually pretty good, they use golden/yellow rice in their combos, and its good. But the meat tastes low grade and the egg rolls are mooshy and taste old. If you missed everyone elses lunch special and still want to save a couple of bucks, give them a try.

Good service, quickly prepared, and hot meals. Friendly, clean in-store atmosphere. Carryout is offered also.

This was our first time eating here and even though we only had plain fried rice and veggie egg rolls, it was good because it is very possible to mess up these simple menu items. Also i have a VERY picky toddler and he liked it.

Pretty good place for your basic convenient Chinese food restaurant. I usually get shrimp and broccoli and I love how they use nice, thick shrimp and not little, puny ones. The portions are good and the prices are comparable to other Chinese food establishments. I've always had great customer service. Recommend to all.

Almost every other week or two I may frequent to China Wok. The food is good, they are fast with my orders and they are to perfection. Yes , they have gotten back up before with orders. My food is always hot. I am glad it's still standing in the Owings Mills area

This place is one of the better options in the area. The chicken is on the verge of being too salty but the rice doesn't have a lot of salt, so paired, it tastes ok. Delivery took 30 minutes - not too shabby. The shrimp egg rolls aren't that great, they barely had any shrimp.

I live five minutes away and always pick my order up after its called in. I use to go here at least once a month for about a year. Somewhere along the way the food just started going down. On my last visit I ordered shrimp fried rice and the shrimp where RAW. You could just look at them and tell they where raw. I was so disappointed I didn't even call to complain I just tossed it. Considering the quality has been constantly going down I don't think I will be returning.

I eat here pretty often. I feel you base your ratings on expectations and value. The portions are big and the prices and cheap for how much food you get and the quality. They usually are ready in 5 or 10 mins which makes me happy as I am usually starving and order it and jump in the car to go get it.

Excellent food and great value. Their delivery service is especially quick (we live in new town). This is the staple Chinese food restaurant for the area. Their fried rice is really great. Thanks for 5 years of great food!
